The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, is inviting Scottish charities that work with children and young people (aged 0–25) to share their views on handling personal data.

The ICO’s Scottish Affairs team wants to better understand the challenges charities face when collecting, storing or sharing young people’s information. This will help the regulator improve its support and guidance for the third sector in Scotland.

Charities are encouraged to complete a short survey, open from 30 June to 28 July, to inform the ICO’s future work and engagement.
