The Children’s Society has launched a new survey to gather insights from professionals working with children and young people, as part of its upcoming Good Childhood Report 2025. The annual report examines the wellbeing of children across the UK, using the latest data and first-hand accounts from children and young people.

This year’s report will include a special chapter focused on what professionals see and hear in their work, aiming to better understand why children’s wellbeing continues to decline. Last year, the report revealed that 15-year-olds in the UK had the lowest life satisfaction in Europe.

Professionals are being asked to voluntarily share their experiences to help inform the findings of the report. All responses will remain anonymous, and any quotes used will not be linked to individuals.
