This guide aims to support social workers to respond effectively to domestic abuse, focusing on situations where children are involved. 

Concerns for the safety of women and children experiencing domestic abuse have heightened since COVID-19 began. Lockdown and social distancing have the potential to exacerbate situations which were already high risk. Whilst this guide was written pre-COVID-19, the contents is still pertinent, covering the following:
