New materials have been published to help inform Care Experienced young people about the right to continuing care. This project has been created by CELCIS in collaboration with the Care Inspectorate and Clan Childlaw, and has been designed by young people for young people.

Many young people do not leave their home until their mid-20s, yet many young people in care feel pressure to leave their home at an earlier age. In Scotland, young people in care have a right to ‘stay put’ in their current placement until the age of 21 and local authorities have a legal duty to support this.
