Scottish Government has published guidelines to help the third sector, community groups and partners in the public and private sector offer practical and effective volunteering opportunities to young people.
The guidelines cover young volunteer recruitment, retention and development.
They were shaped by young people through the Youth Volunteering Innovation Project. This group of young volunteers, from a variety of backgrounds, brought their stories and experience to ensure the guidelines reflect their needs and the needs of the sector.
