Grave children’s rights violations are happening in Palestine

The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child has called for “an end to the devastating harm being wreaked on children’s lives in the occupied Palestinian Territory” and for the prioritisation of children’s lives in armed conflict as required by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and humanitarian law.

Children bring a case against 33 European states on climate and their rights

The case, lodged in 2020, was brought by six Portuguese children against 33 European states. The applicants demand that states uphold their legal duty to reduce fossil fuel-related emissions and prevent climate harms.
