The Independent Review of the Human Rights Act 1998 is commissioned by the UK Government and launched in December 2020. It may result in change to human rights provision across the UK.

The review will look at two key themes:

  • The impact of the Human Rights Act on the relationship between the judiciary, executive and legislature.

A public Call for Evidence is now open and will close on 3rd March 2021.
