A new Scotland-wide campaign, Rights Here. Rights Now., has launched to highlight how human rights shape people’s everyday lives and why strong human rights protections matter.

The campaign is a collaboration between the Human Rights Consortium Scotland and JustRight Scotland. Through films, personal testimonies and stories from communities across Scotland, it explores what human rights look like in practice and the difference they can make when they are understood, respected and protected.

The campaign aims to improve public understanding of human rights, challenge misinformation and build support for stronger human rights protections in Scotland, including a Human Rights Bill for Scotland. People and organisations are encouraged to get involved by watching the campaign films, reading the Stories of Hope booklet, using the communications pack and sharing the campaign through their networks.
