General measures of implementation, Education, Leisure and Cultural Activities
This latest publication from YouthLink Scotland highlights that Education Reform must deliver changes to the structure and culture of Scottish education with youth work included as a fundamental entitlement for every young person.
The report evidences the role that youthwork plays in supporting children and young people’s rights and argues that youth work should be recognised and resourced as a fundamental element of the Scottish education system. It urges a shift in the narrative to ensure every young person has the right to access youth work as part of their learning experience. Strong leadership and bold action are needed to make this a reality.
