Children and young people are encouraged to share their views in a survey about taking part in a Restorative Justice process and on how to improve an awareness raising video.

Restorative justice brings those harmed by crime or conflict and those responsible for the harm into communication. By bringing everyone affected into communication, restorative justice aims to repair the harm caused and find a positive way forward.

The anonymous survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes and is open to children and young people under 25. The results will be written into a report for the Scottish Government to ensure Scottish Government takes into consideration children and young people’s views in the delivery of restorative justice in Scotland.

The report will be published on Scottish Government’s Restorative Justice stakeholder website, relevant Restorative Justice newsletters and annual reports for the stakeholder group.
