Scottish Government plans to launch a new statutory national concessionary travel scheme providing free bus travel for young people resident in Scotland up to their 19th birthday. The consultation seeks views on what the most appropriate way to provide free travel for young people is to meet their needs and requirements.

Scottish Government would like to hear from members of the public who are likely to be most affected by this decision. In particular, the views of children and young people, their parents and carers and people who work with children in a paid or voluntary capacity
