The Scottish Human Rights Commission calls for views on the Proposal for Scotland’s second National Action Plan for Human Rights (SNAP 2).
The SNAP 2 proposal has been drafted by a Development Working Group of around fifteen people from across civil society and the public sector, supported by an independent facilitator. It aims to build a better human rights culture, help improve people’s lives through human rights and contribute to a better world by giving effect to Scotland’s international human rights obligations.
Public views on the SNAP 2 proposal are especially needed in regards to:
- the issues that have been identified across 25 themes
- the 60+ proposed actions
- ways of ensuring community support and involvement
- organisation, governance and resourcing model.
