A new child-friendly version of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) has been published by UNICEF and Child Rights Connect.

This is the first child-friendly UNCRC developed with a global team of child advisors. Several resources have been produced, including:

  • a child-friendly UNCRC poster leaflet
  • a child-friendly UNCRC booklet
  • child-friendly UNCRC icons

These resources aim to help raise awareness and understanding of children’s rights and the UNCRC among children and adults globally. They will be formally launched in Geneva on 16th September with two representatives of the Children’s Advisory Team during an event being held by the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child to mark the 30th anniversary of the UNCRC.
