Life in Scotland – Have YOUR Say!
Date: 18th August 2015
Category: Respect for the views of the child, Reporting to and monitoring the UNCRC
A special Glow TV event will be taking place on 3rd September, as UN Committee member Amal Aldoseri visits Scotland to find out more about children's rights in Scotland. What do the children you teach think about life in Scotland?
Are there things they really like about it, or things they wish could improve? Either way, they have the chance to make their voices heard next month, when Amal Aldoseri of the United Nations visits Scotland in order to hear their views.
Amal will talk to children in a special Glow TV event from 9:30am to 10am on Thursday 3 September about the views and opinions she recieves. While she'll be able to take some comments directly, it's best that children's views are submitted ahead of time. To send a child's view to Amal, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by 1st September.
