Launch of State of Children's Rights 2014 report

Date: 28th October 2014
Category: Awareness-raising

Join Together for the launch of the annual State of Children's Rights in Scotland report and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

The State of Children's Rights report 2014 will provide a non-government perspective on the extent to which children in Scotland are able to enjoy their rights enshrined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). It reflects on the past year since the publication of Together's 2013 State of Children's Rights report, discussing what progress has been made and where further efforts are needed.

The launch will be held at Lothian Chambers in Edinburgh on Thursday 20th November (International Children's Day) from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM (AEDT).

The Minister for Children and Young People Aileen Campbell MSP will launch the report and additional speakers will be confirmed shortly, along with a full programme.

This event is free to attend.
