Together is recruiting a Membership and Communications Intern, to help develop its relationship with members and expand its reach across Scotland.

This is a great opportunity for a keen graduate to develop knowledge of UN treaty bodies and processes, attend Parliamentary and children's sector events and to support and contribute to the development of an innovative hub on children's rights in Scotland.

The internship will include tasks such as building relationships with existing members to engage them with Together's activities, assisting with identifying and recruiting new members and managing and developing processes to contribute to efficient membership administration.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level with a background or interest in Policy Studies, Childhood Studies and/or Media and Communications. An interest in children's rights and keenness to work for the Third Sector is favourable. Experience in producing marketing materials, copy and proofreading will be advantageous.

This paid internship will be for 2 days per week for 3 months. Interviews will take place during the week commencing 25th August and the internship will start on either 1st or 8th September 2014.
