The Community Safety Partnership Fund is provided on an annual basis by Midlothian Council to offer financial support to community groups and agencies to support community safety related projects and initiatives.

The Midlothian Community Safety Partnership works together to reduce crime, improving how safe people feel and to promote safer, more inclusive and healthier communities.

In 2013/14, grants are available for projects and initiatives in Midlothian that contribute to one of the following outcomes:

  • Fewer people are victims of crime.
  • People feel safe in their neighbourhoods and homes.
  • Midlothian communities take a positive role in shaping their future.

Applications are accepted from associations, companies limited by guarantee, trusts; partnerships, public bodies and community councils.

Interested groups are encouraged to contact the Community Safety Development Officer at Midlothian Council to discuss their project idea before making an application.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on 8 April 2013.
