Families Outside peer support group

The Connecting Families team of Families Outside has rolled out peer support groups for family members affected by imprisonment across Scotland. The two peer support groups include one in Inverness for primary aged children affected by the imprisonment of a family member.

The Inverness group meets once a month and gives children the opportunity to connect with others in a similar situation.

The second peer support group by Families Outside is for women affected by imprisonment in North Ayrshire. The group comes together once a month and is a welcoming, warm & safe space to meet others.
