Do you teach or support children & young people from armed forces and veteran families? The Forces Life Board Game and Comic Book provides an opportunity for educators & professionals to enhance their continual professional development (CPD) by learning more about unique challenges faced by this group of young people when it comes to education and learning, mental health and wellbeing and much more.
The board game is a take on traditional snakes and ladders – where it differs is the fact young people from armed forces and veteran families have added extra little touches to enhance the game experience and creatively shared their lived experience to help civilian classmates, educators and professionals better understand the lives they lead. The Forces Life Project is about helping veteran families to start a conversation with civilian peers as well as develop a valuable learning resource to enhance understanding of both the positive and challenging aspects of the lives they lead.
