Care experienced young people and adults, foster carers, children’s residential workers and social workers are invited to co-curate an interdisciplinary performance project that blends media installation with both digital and live performance.

Creative practitioner, Nicola, will embark on a process with each participant that seeks to help them take control of their narratives and, through one-to-one work, help to give voice to their authentic stories of living within the care system. The voices of carers and social workers will also be integral to the work.

National Theatre of Scotland would like to invite you to get involved in this project in one or both of the following ways:

  1. To share your story (this can be your real-life story about your experience of the care system, or an imagined, creative story) through online one-to-one sessions with Nicola through February and March 2021.
  2. To share your real-life experiences of the care system as part of the public sharing which will happen in the spring of 2021. Again, this will happen through online one-to-one meetings.

Anything you share will be treated as confidential unless permission is given to share it.
