‘From Scotland’s Young People’ is a five-year document detailing what changes Scottish Youth Parliament plans to make during the period 2021-26. Members of the Scottish Parliament can use this manifesto to form a strong mandate to bring about changes that matter to young people across Scotland and champion Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The manifesto presents detailed insights about the issues that matter most to young people across Scotland, to amplify young people’s voices and ensure they are heard by those in power. The manifesto touches on COVID-19, culture and media, education and lifelong learning, equalities and human rights, external affairs, UK and international relations, health and wellbeing, justice, social security, sports and leisure, transport, environment and rural affairs.

A new microsite will allow Scottish Youth Parliament to respond to events and issues as they emerge, offering young people with reactive opportunities to have their voices heard on the issues of the day. This microsite is in production and will be ready by spring 2021.
