xEU strategy on the rights of the child (2021-24)

The European Commission is currently preparing a new strategy on the rights of the child. The strategy will address persisting and emerging challenges to children’s rights, including in the context of COVID-19.
The strategy will include a list of actions for the Commission to implement during the current mandate. It will also include recommendations for actions by other EU institutions and bodies, Member States and stakeholders.
The aims of the consultation are to give all citizens and organisations the opportunity to inform policy development, and to identify opportunities and challenges in relation to the EU actions on children’s rights.
