ASH Scotland is seeking the views of staff and volunteers working with young carers to inform its future engagement with young carers' services. The survey also intends to discover how ASH Scotland can offer the best support to improve young carers’ health and wellbeing, particularly in relation to smoking uptake and exposure to second-hand smoke.

This survey will focus on:

  • The extent to which smoking and tobacco is an area of concern for the health and wellbeing of young carers.
  • The feasibility and any perceived barriers for young carers' services, staff and volunteers raising the issue of smoking with young carers and their families.
  • Resources and future activities that could support young carers' services to address smoking and tobacco issues with young carers and their families.

All responses will be confidential and anonymised within the resulting report. Participants will have the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw for a £40 One4all gift card. The survey closes on 31st August 2020. For more information contact cbennett@ashscotland.org.uk
