The review of the first phase of Scotland’s National Action Plan for Human Rights (SNAP) has now been published.

The review assesses SNAP against international guidance on best practice for National Action Plans. This guidance states that such plans should be:

  1. Evidence-based
  2. Inclusive
  3. Committed to by key stakeholders
  4. Action-orientated
  5. Realistic
  6. Measurable
  7. Adequately supported
  8. Monitored and reviewed
