European and international policy agendas on children and young people’s rights: 2018 update

This study offers an inventory of the main policy agendas of the European Union, the Council of Europe and the United Nations in which children and youth are the focus and are aimed at influencing government policies.

The first issue of ‘The European and International Policy Agendas on Children, Youth and Children’s Rights’, was conducted under the Belgian EU Presidency in 2010.

The study provides an overview of the main policy agendas on children's rights and youth-centred policies in the European Union, the Council of Europe and the United Nations. The publication was updated in 2012, 2014 and 2016.

The report aims to provide in-depth analysis of European and international policy agendas on children, youth and children’s rights.
