Call for inputs for the report of the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of HRD's to the 74th session of the General Assembly

In his next thematic report to the General Assembly, the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders will address the topic of impunity for human rights violations and abuses committed against human rights defenders. This report will be presented to the 74th session of the General Assembly in October 2019. Deadline: Monday 6th May 2019 This is an opportunity to secure a chapter on children.  

To this end, the Special Rapporteur has prepared a questionnaire for States, National Human Rights Institutions, United Nations agencies, funds and programmes, international and regional organizations, and civil society, including non-governmental organizations and other relevant stakeholders.

Child Rights Connect is interested in providing a short cross-regional submission consolidating a position on main challenges and measures to overcome to combat impunity for children human rights defenders.
