Closing date: 14th April 2019. This year, for the 30th anniversary of the CRC, Amnesty International’s Write for Rights campaign will be focused on young human rights defenders (aged 25 and under) and they are looking for 10 amazing young people defending human rights to spotlight the campaign.

For this they are asking for submissions of human rights defenders or activists, up to the age of 25 who are at risk of/have experienced, or can be the face of a group that is at risk of/has experienced, a human rights violation. They are particularly interested in cases from Egypt, Pakistan, Taiwan, Korea, Nigeria, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Italy and Poland but submissions from all countries are welcome! Submissions should be made in English, French or Spanish by the 14th April 2019 – the sooner a submission is received, the more likely it is to be selected.
