xAdvisory Group on Human Rights Leadership launches website

The First Minister's Advisory Group on Human Rights leadership, established to make recommendations on how Scotland can further promote human rights, has launched a website containing latest news from the group and details on how to get involved.
The website features details of the group, which is chaired by Professor Alan Miller, and information on their latest meetings and activities. It is accessible for those who use British Sign Language.
The purpose of the Advisory Group is to make recommendations to the First Minister on how Scotland can lead in the field of human rights, particularly after Brexit and considering proposals by the UK Government to repeal the Human Rights Act. The recommendations will be published in December of this year.
To provide information and support to the Advisory Group, a Reference Group consisting of around 50 civil society organisations has been established which will consistently engage with the Advisory Group and provide input on a variety of
