Date: 27th June 2018

Respect for the views of the child
YouthLink is looking for interactive session proposals for their annual conference on Young People's Participation which will take place this year on Universal Children's Day, 20th November.
Each Interactive Session will be co-designed and co-delivered with young people and will aim to share practice, develop skills and promote how policy can be made into practice and management. Sessions can be in the form of workshops, mini-seminars, lecture or presentations.
The conference itself aims to explore young people's participation within a young work context by:
- Considering ways in which youth work enables young people to participate in decisions that affect their lives;
- Identifying and discussing the ways in which youth organisations are led and informed by young people;
- Reflecting on the experiences of organisations who are working in partnership with young people to improve their services and experiences through the influence of young people's views.
- If you're interested in contributing an interactive session at this event, find out how to download the proposal form here.
Proposals should be submitted no later than 9th July 2018.
