Scotland’s National Action Plan – Your Views

The SHRC are seeking views from people across Scotland about their experiences when it comes to human rights.

The Scottish Human Rights Commission (an independent public body promoting and protecting human rights for everyone in Scotland) are particularly keen to hear from those whose voices are often under-represented in policy and decision-making.

Responses to the survey are anonymous and confidential. The information received will help shape the next phase of Scotland's National Action Plan for Human Rights.

Scotland's first National Action Plan on Human Rights (SNAP) was launched four years ago. It set out an ambitious plan of actions to achieve a Scotland where everyone's rights are real.

An independent evaluation of SNAP's first four years will be published in the spring of 2018, alongside recommendations for what should be included in the second version of the plan.

As part of this process, the SHRC would like to hear:

- your views about what you think should be included in the plan; and

- what you think about the state of human rights in Scotland.
