Consultation on youth work outcome indicators

The Youth Work Outcome model was formally launched on 27th January 2016 at the Youth Work Changes Lives Conference and EXPO and a suite of indicators to support the Outcomes has been developed for which YouthLink are now seeking feedback.

The Outcomes have experienced a 'soft launch' introduction to the youth work sector during autumn 2015. YouthLink Scotland, working with Northern Star, have now launched a consultation on a draft suite of Outcome Indicators.

The consultation materials will be available for comment until the 4th March 2016. Responses are welcomed until then from across the youth work sector, and can be made individually or as a team or organisation.

Together attended the Youth Work Changes Lives Conference and EXPO on 27th January to help ensure that a children's rights-based approach is taken when delivering and monitoring youth work. The event included a video from the Children's Commissioner Tam Baillie, highlighting the broad positive impact that youth work has on the realisation of children's rights. Together used the hashtags #youthworkchangeslives and #YWExpo to tweet about the event throughout the day.
