5th report to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child: call for views

The UK is due to submit its next (fifth) periodic report to the UN Committee in early 2014. A draft version of the report is available & a call for views has been issued.

The UK Government's Department for Education has indicated that it would welcome comments from civil society on the draft report.

Together will be submitting its State of Children's Rights Report 2013 (to be launched on 20th November) as a response to the report and would like to encourage its members to get in touch if there is anything specific that they would like us to pick up on or highlight.

The Scottish Government submitted a report to the UK Government to inform the 5th periodic report to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. This report was published on 1st July 2013.
