Minority Ethnic Development Fund extended

The OFMDFM has announced a six-month extension to funding for groups already receiving development funding under the Minority Ethnic Development Fund.

Current funding was due to end on 31 March 2012 but funding arrangements for groups have now been extended until 30 September 2012. The Fund enables the minority ethnic community to capacity build and become active citizens in society, bringing additional skills, talent and knowledge which is socially enriching. Minority ethnic groups and other key stakeholders will be consulted about the details of the new fund over the coming months.
