UNICEF UK wants you!

Date: 21st February 2011
Category: General measures of implementation

UNICEF UK is looking for a small group of young people to help inform their policy work on both UK and international issues. To apply, you need to be aged between 10 and 16, passionate about issues like climate change, child poverty and children & young people's rights and willing to commit to being involved for two years.

As well as helping to make a difference on children's rights, you will have the chance to write blogs, make videos, attend UNICEF events and generally make yourself heard.

I'm in - how do I apply?
To apply, tell UNICEF why children's rights matter to you and to the lives of children around the world. There are lots of ways you can do this:

  • Write a short article (no more than 200 words)
  • Draw a picture or take a photograph - don't forget a caption!
  • Draw a comic strip
  • Record a podcast or film a short video (no more than 1 minute)

For more inspiration, visit UNICEF UK's young people's website Tagd's pages on children's rights and getting creative.

The closing date is Wednesday 2 March.
