Using the law to advance rights: Overcoming barriers and creating opportunities

Clan Childlaw, Human Rights Consortium Scotland and Amnesty International are holding a conference which aims to explore the opportunities and challenges organisations face when using the law and courts to advance rights.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss what changes would help organisations and the individuals they represent to advance human rights through the courts in Scotland. The conference will also publish recommendations on addressing barriers to public interest litigation in Scotland.
Speakers include those from organisations with first-hand experience of using public interest litigation as well as those with expertise:
