This online seminar will present major judgments related to family matters issued by the European Court of Human Rights in 2020-21 and includes key topics such as: Sexual orientation and gender identity, children’s rights and compulsory vaccination for children, parental rights and cross-border child abduction and surrogacy.

It will provide participants with a detailed understanding of recent jurisprudence related to the human right to have a privacy and a private family life. It will look at the legal implications of the case law in relation to social, emotional and biological factors.
