Strengthening migrants’ human rights in Scotland

Date: 28th October 2020
Time: 9:30 -12:00
Location: Online

This interactive half-day event will explore how migrants' rights can be strengthened, as Scotland moves to incorporate broader international human rights treaties.

A new human rights law is being developed in Scotland that will include many of our human rights, like rights to housing, food and healthcare. Organisations working with migrants are invited to an online interactive half-day to bring their experience and expertise around how this law could improve the lives of those new to Scotland.

The event will provide up-to-date, accessible information about plans for new human rights law in Scotland and how organisations and migrants themselves can get involved in shaping it. In addition, it will be an opportunity for participants to identify key priorities and concerns to Scottish Government.

Cost: £0
