All our rights in law

Date: 30th November 2020 to 10th December 2020
Time: Various times
Location: Online

A National Taskforce is putting together recommendations for a new human rights law. This law would put all rights directly into Scotland’s laws. For the first time, this would include rights such as the right to: food, housing and health. The Human Rights Consortium Scotland wants to hear what you think about how a new human rights law might help you as well as families and communities.

The interactive online sessions will be an opportunity to find out more about the new human rights law.

On 10th December 2020, the interactive online session will be followed by another event which will ask the following questions:

  • What needs to be in the law?
  • How should it be put into practice?
  • What do you want to tell the National Taskforce?

Find out more about what might be in the new human rights law here.
