Our Hearings, Our Voice
Our Hearings, Our Voice is a national project which supports an Independent Board of children and young people in Scotland, aged 8-18 years, who want to use their lived experiences to improve the Children's Hearings System. The focus of the children and young people's Board is to help create shared understanding, positive change and improvement. The Board has three key functions: 1. To identify and recommend improvements across the system (via project work). 2. To scrutinise and support the work of partners across the Children’s Hearings System. 3. To hold the Children’s Hearings System to account. Our Hearings, Our Voice is funded by the Scottish Government and reports directly to the Children's Hearings Improvement Partnership (CHIP).
