Save the Children’s Childcare Conversations

Category: Family Environment and Alternative Care

27th April 2012

Childcare (for 0-14 year olds) is a big issue for families. All parents and carers should be able to get high quality, affordable childcare. Yet we know that many parents struggle to access the right childcare at an affordable cost.

Save the Children wants to know about parents and carers think about childcare. They want parents' views to shape the debate about the future of childcare in Scotland. Save the Children are holding small focus groups with parents about their experiences of childcare.

Are you a parent/ carer with links to others in your community? Do you work with parents and/ or carers? Would you be able to help us set up a childcare conversation in your area? If so, please e-mail Katie McSherry or call 0131 527 5232.
