How can I get more involved in Children's Rights in Scotland?

Anyone with an interest in children's rights is welcome to become a member of Together. Joining Together allows you to work with countless organisations and individuals across Scotland that work with us to share information and best practice on children's rights. Apply to become a member now through our online membership form.

There are many ways you get more involved in Children's Rights as a member of Together. For example:

  • Submit news to Together's fortnightly e-newsletter and highlight your activities to over 500 children's organisatons across Scotland. We're interested in press releases, details of upcoming events, campaigns, conferences, courses, reports and publications, funding news and responses to consultations. See our news page for more information.
  • Seek support, or help to set up, a local children's rights network. See our networks page for more information. Contact Juliet Harris, Together's National Development Officer, to see if she can link you into children's rights activities and organisations in your area, or refer you to appropriate reports and publications.
  • Get involved in our annual State of Children's Rights report, which looks at how well Scotland is doing at implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. We are always seeking the views and experiences of children's organisations across Scotland.
